lcp was hired by the Hunt Group to help organize and facilitate a series of design workshops as part of their effort to win a contract to develop and manage several hundred units of new student housing on campus. With support from our partners at Civic Edge Consulting, we developed a series of interactive exercises, designed to garner ideas and feedback from a variety of student groups and staff related to building and individual unit amenities, overall space planning and community building, rents, costs and trade-offs, etc. The overall workshops were organized with short presentations by industry experts interspersed with interactive exercises and online survey tools that were facilitated by the lcp team as well as members of the development team.
