www.babec.org For the last 2-1/2 decades, BABEC has provided training and in-classroom curricula to high-school biosciences teachers around the country. lowercase productions was asked to revitalize the BABEC website, turning it into an inspired, user-friendly resource for science educators. A key feature of the site is the Teacher Resource panel which offers access to a portal where site visitors can download online and hands-on lessons across a wide range of biosciences categories. A number of community-focused pages including a dynamic map of participating schools and feedback loops that allow teachers to write about their experiences with the curriculum materials. Along with animated iconography, and punchy infographics, the project has resulted in a well-used science education resource for its intended audience.
